Pennsylvania National Officers

Collecting national officer patches has been on the rise across the country, as a niche OA collecting market. Pennsylvania not only has the founding of the order to our name but we also had the first elected youth conference chief. Richard Wilson was named the first youth chief in 1950 and was a member of Chimalus lodge 242 out of Washington, PA. Pennsylvania lodges have had a rather large amount of national officers with the bulk coming in the last couple of years. Out of the 14 national officers Pennsylvania has had,  almost half of them have come from three lodges (Woapeu Sisilija 343, Wagion 6, and Susquehannock 11).  The first patches produced for a national officer from Pennsylvania came from Susquehannock 11. They were created for Joe Marsciano the 1996 NE region chief. While this state has seen our fair share of national officers we certainly have some of the hardest to collect. The hardest lodge issued piece by far goes to the 2007 Region Chief Ken Hager. The Neckerchief pictured below is 1 of 20. Although other lodge issues are not far behind with a lot of issuing only less then 200. Below is a listing of all known patches produced for Pennsylvania national officers. The Pennsylvania national officers without patches produced are Richard Wilson from Chimalus 242 (1950 conference chief), George Andrews from Kuskitannee 168 (1978-1980 NE region chief), and John E. Meckley III from Woapeu Sisilija 343 (1990 National Chief).
